Specialist & Casework Service
Caseworkers deal with more complex, lengthy cases such as welfare benefit appeals, overpayments, dealing with a range of creditors on your behalf, housing, employment or matters relating to possession proceedings and a range of other issues.
How to access a Caseworker
For specialist advice on welfare benefits, employment, debt and housing, if you are eligible for legal help (mainly people who have income below a certain limit set by the government) please come to a drop-in session to see a general adviser who will check your eligibility and, if appropriate you will be made an appointment for you with the relevant specialist caseworker and an appointment will be sent out to you in the post. You will be asked to provide evidence of your household income before you receive an appointment.
If you would like money advice but are not eligible for Legal Help, following initial assessment at a drop in session, a general adviser will, if appropriate make an appointment for you to see an adviser who will assist you further with your enquiry.
Please click on the Drop In Session tab above for our opening times. |
